Your dog’s DNA sample will be collected through mouth swabs that are provided in the sample collection kit. The process of sample collection is quick and painless. The sample will be collected by gently rubbing the swab inside your pet’s mouth, against the inner cheek. It should not take more than a minute.
The results of the DNA My Dog Canine Genetic Age Test will be available within 2-3 weeks from the time the laboratory receives the samples. They will be sent via email.
Note: For more accurate results, do not forget to provide the weight of your canine. If the tested dog is a puppy (younger than 2.5 years old), our scientists will place it in the anticipated group based on their breed and likely weight.
