Gut Microbiome Testing
Only $169 with results in 3-4 weeks
Gut Microbiome Testing identifies which bacteria live in your gut, how abundant they are and how they affect your body. The laboratory analyses the bacteria’s DNA using the latest technology to provide quick and accurate results, available within 3-4 weeks of receiving your sample. Microbiome analysis will show whether your nutrition and gut ecosystem are well balanced or if you need to make changes to your diet to improve your bacterial composition and improve your health.
It is important to bear in mind that only continued healthy eating habits can lead to an improved microbiome composition.
What is the Microbiome?
The human gut is inhabited by a community of approximately 37 trillion different micro-organisms, mostly bacteria, but also fungi and viruses. These micro-organisms make up the gut microbiome. Most micro-organisms in the gut are beneficial and play an important role in digesting food, metabolising vitamins and maintaining your body’s health. A diverse microbiome is essential for maintaining a healthy gut and a healthy body as a whole.
Your gut microbiome community is affected by lifestyle and environmental factors. A long-term absence or imbalance of certain bacteria can lead to health problems such as obesity, digestive problems and autoimmune diseases.
Recent microbiome testing research has led to the microbiome being referred to as “the forgotten organ” due to its role in influencing everything from your mood to the risk of developing serious diseases.
What Will Gut Microbiome Testing Results Tell Me?
Your gut bacteria test results will include the following information:
- Which bacteria live in your gut?

- Are there enough beneficial bacteria in your gut?
- Are there harmful bacteria in your gut?

- Are your diet and microbiome community balanced or do you need changes to your diet?
